Ces centres aident gratuitement les personnes qui rencontrent des difficultés pour se nourrir, se loger, payer leurs factures, se chauffer, Le CPAS veille au bien-être de chaque citoyen. Une fois que vous avez reçu votre statut de protection temporaire, vous pouvez contacter le CPAS du lieu de votre résidence.

Le CPAS est là pour vous aider, même si vous ne parlez pas le français, le néerlandais ou l’allemand.

Quelles sont les aides octroyées ?

Sur base d’une enquête sociale, le CPAS peut vous octroyer :

• Une aide médicale
• Une aide financière
• Une prime d’installation
• Une aide psychosociale
• Un accompagnement dans vos démarches (ex. ouverture d’un compte bancaire)

Once you have received your temporary protection status, you can contact a PCSW.

The PCSW is there to help you, even if you do not speak French, Dutch or German.

What type of aid is provided?

On the basis of a social investigation, the PCSW can grant you:

• Medical assistance
• Financial aid
• Settling-in grant
• Psychosocial assistance
• Support in your administrative procedures (e.g. opening a bank account)
